DMCA Policy
BDSIS: Bedroom Design, Style, Inspiration, and Space (bdsis2021.com) respects the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and promptly process notices of alleged infringement. This policy outlines the procedures for submitting a takedown notice and how we address copyright claims related to our content on bedroom design, style, inspiration, and space solutions.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and made accessible on BDSIS in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may send a DMCA Takedown Notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. Your notice must include all of the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit BDSIS to locate the material (e.g., a specific URL).
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit BDSIS to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Counter-Notification Process
If your content was removed due to a DMCA Takedown Notice, you may submit a counter-notification if you believe the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification. To file a counter-notice, you must provide our Designated Copyright Agent with a written communication containing substantially the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location (URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which BDSIS may be found. You also agree to accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, BDSIS will send a copy to the original complaining party. We will inform them that we may replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it within 10 to 14 business days, unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order to restrain the subscriber from engaging in infringing activity related to the material on our platform.
